nowt major at the moment callum, got the AP's fitted the other day along with a couple of wee bits and pieces, had the car out twice since and clutch is slipping, so that is next on the list of things to do....

Its a bit of a nightmare at the moment, too much to list, and so much done at once that when you get a glitch the fault checking process is endless.

Got her started but overfuelling, maf okay then voltage through the roof, wet plugs, so changed, overfuelled again but running better. Fuel rail dramas, then baffled sump welds sweating, etc etc. Just wee things that all add up but need time to fix.

End state is that all going well and minor problems addressed, Ill have her with a base map and run in in the next couple of weeks.

Then Uncle Andy can work his magic that and a few our fathers and its off to the RR day to see what she makes before a track run.

My APs are ready as well, just need the brackets from SSW and we are ready to rock and roll. I managed to put a set of 330mm 4 pots together for £500. Dont need 6 pots my car isnt heavy enough to justify them.

Its just a fault checking process ATM.

sounds like its all going to come together nicely..... i know exactly what you mean though about when you do a lot at once, seems to cause loads of little glitches which need ironed out, am hoping all the wee problems are resolved with mine sooner rather than later as well, need to pay another visit to steve simpson once the last of this months bits are on...

I am not a fan of gems, I know they are good when running well, but binary mapping is beyond me atm, just a load of numbers, clicks and whistles. Like trying to pass a message to tail end charlie in a jungle patrol.

It seems to work for you though and thats what matters, you car was flying the day i saw it at KH.

was going not bad til i put the second batch of fuel in, then was getting a load of detonation, seems to happen every time i use fuel from the shell @ forth road bridge...[:@]

car is very lumpy on start up, am told that the next map will resolve this though..

That is quite a common thing about the GEMS but mines doesn't do it anymore.

Scott.

My car is running brill atm.Just that my anti lag is not working but it's a small issue as i don't use it anyway.

You'll know what that's like as i have ant lag there but can't use it[A]

Also i got like a slight misfire/jerk whan cold but it's brill any other time.

Does yours pop and bang big style on over run etc etc like coming into for a corner off the gas.

Shoot flames and all that......my car is very rally slag like when i want it to be[;)]

Back from seeing duncan, got the adjustable rear anti roll bar fitted along with the rear bushes, What a difference [;)]

Turned out that when the car was on the ramp he noticed that the antilift kit was wrong,  the stickers were on the wrong part right = left, left = right.

Duncan replaced the antilift and fitted it.. Well done that man [:D]

Then had to go see john at pro-grip to get the geometry checked.. turned out it was only a tiny bit out..

THANKS GUYS [:P]
