scoobykev Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 The roads in and around Dundee just now are a nightmare, my works van is slidding all over the place (its not my driving), can't get away from junctions without the wheels spinning into 2nd gear. I heard today that they are adding a substance in with the grit/salt to make it stick to the road better to melt the ice, this stuff is basically like an animal fat but once the ice has gone, it stays on the road. Anybody heard of this before? or is it my driving then Kev
wilky Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I feel that you should stay off the mind altering drugs, they obviously dont agree with you.
sharon_mccall Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Kev the roads in Falkirk/Grangemouth are bloody awful. I have slid a few times in Ruby. It's scary stuff when you're not expecting it. Dunno if it's anything to do with the salt or not but it's a right pain! And if you are on drugs, wot are they and do u have any spare? lol
Gumball Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 i heard that they were introducing this animal fat to the raods in glasgow as well. The other day i spun the scoob into a 720degree spin. it was crazy I need to stop drinking
scoobykev Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 no drugs involved, just fresh country air unless you count the evostick in the back of the van
sharon_mccall Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 ahhhhhhhhhhh evostick, great smell. LOL
herbie Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 The roads in aberdeen have been bone dry for the past 2 days, which is a shock!
