grant_morris Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 Anyone else gone through Garey ford? it didn't look that deep unti I started to go through it... It must've been around 6-8" deep. come out the other side and the car was pouring steam from the engine and exhaust. Ho-hum...think I'll stick to Duck baiting at Ballasalla from now on.

Was taking the car for spin round the TT this afternoon and got stuck in a convoy at Ginger Hall. There was a Seat Leon thingie in front of me that wanted to play, against all normal reactions I decided to turn off and head towards Garey Ford, mainly as the tyres are still quite 'greasy' at the moment. Ended up taking the car the long way home via the Coast road, was quite impressed at the turn of speed the car was doing even though I wasn't trying to hammer it through the bends. It seems to be more at ease on the roads than my old STi, firmly planted on the road, but not a crashy ride. Most impressed.
andy_bray Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 Yes Grant, you do not need to prove your STI power to others , they sould know....(SEAT) LOL Its is a great looking scooby bud , And cannot wait to see it in the flesh.....
grant_morris Posted December 25, 2005 Author Posted December 25, 2005 To be fair to the guy, he was giving it some serious welly.
