Cost of Cambelt

Hi All,

Can someone advise how much i would expect the parts needed for doing a cambelt change to be....

Also, how many hours labour is this for a mechanic...

We got our belt done not that long ago roughly cost £150 i think as we had a few other things done that day aswell!!!!!

Don't suppose you know the split by parts vs labour?

Sorry i dont mate

We are good friends with the garage so they dont split the bill in parts then labour it just says timing belt changed £150 then a few other things down below. If you want the details of the garage i take the car to drop me a pm ill give you their number but i am in the Glasgow area, dont know if that is too far out for you or not.

No worries, just curious as a guy i know (who has a garage) is gonna do the belt for me but he took my chassis number to get prices for the actual belt and i wasn't sure what to expect...

I'm in the glasgow area anyway and i'm pretty sure it'll be under £150 all in, if not i'll drop you a PM,
