granby Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 Anyone want a VF34 turbo which is the same as fitted to my WRX Clicky gives a good power increase with a remap
Cecil Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Granby or anyone else for that matter... Do you know if the VF34 will go onto a uk300 which I think is just a 2001 WRX and if I put it on will I need a bigger intercooler... Thanx

Thanx >> The VF34 is a straight swap for the TD04 you have on yours, you could use the standard intercooler but a STi intercooler would be much better
Cecil Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 I am a real amateur and have no idea but the car only comes with 245bhp as standard so I am presuming that it is a wrx.
Cecil Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Granby, So I will still get a big improvement with this turbo, it is better than the one i have on it at the mo.
granby Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 << isn't a uk 300 based on the sti? >> Nope it was based on a WRX, the 300 stands for 300 made not 300bhp << Granby, So I will still get a big improvement with this turbo, it is better than the one i have on it at the mo. >> It's a much better turbo and is good for about 350bhp (with mods) where your standard turbo won't go much over 280bhp, have a look at my figures 336bhp & 315 torque , that's a WRX with STi intercooler VF34 turbo Full decat exhaust and a remap by Bob Rawle Anymore info you need to know just ask
dunks Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Being a newbie would ther be much work needed to my car if i was to fit this turbo to my car? if so what price are we looking at?
granby Posted November 17, 2005 Author Posted November 17, 2005 << Being a newbie would ther be much work needed to my car if i was to fit this turbo to my car? if so what price are we looking at? >> What year car do you have
granby Posted November 17, 2005 Author Posted November 17, 2005 I believe it's a straight swap but you will need a remap (which i think can be done on your year), i would give Xtreme Scoobies a call and speak to them as they fitted my VF34
