Iaing Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Noticed this on sunday after driving through a rather large puddle at around 40mph. When turning left and accelerating, I occasionally get a sort of clunking almost vibrating sort of sound under the car. If you drew a line from the gear stick down, thats roughly where it sounded like it was coming from. Its difficult to locate as it doesnt happen very often and not for very long. It usually happens exiting roundabouts (turning left) when you get a change in transition. Even then its probably only once a day this happens if that. Had the car up on a ramp on Saturday not long after this happened for the first time but couldnt spot anything obvious. Drive shafts at the front have no or very little play in them, nothing seems to be hanging down? Am worried this is going to be an expensive one. Any idea's folks? Iain
