my insurance is due around the end of the month so i thought i would ring arounf for a quote, at the moment im with tesco which have quoted me 1600 for renewal, so i tried bond lovis who quoted me 1400, then i tried A plan who quoted me 1250 then i tried keith micheals whoe quote me £995 yes £995 but the best part is they will cover me for mostly any body mods and usual engines at no extra cost ! also im 24 and have 9 points on my license! what are you waiting for! call keith micheals on 0208 642 7868 and ask for Gary Moulson (aka moley on scoobynet) and say CONG sent you !!

what sort of excess have you got..................coz tesco has got me on £850.00 at mo .............i`m 35 with 4yrs no claims, everytime i add a little to the car i do the right thing ring and tell them and BOBS YOUR UNCLE up goes the excess.

Managed to get £650 through AA although I am 50 and with clear driving record - it took a bit of phoning round though as mines parked roadside in Plumstead Common area and a lot of companies wouldn't even think about insuring me unless it was garaged etc etc...usual stuff

£650 i think thats quite a alot of money for your age! im sur you could have go it for less what did keith mich say?

Age didn't seem to be the problem - had more problems with it being an SE18 postcode - insurers seem to think we're all bloody car thieves up here! Will perhaps give Michaels a ring just to see what they have to say.
