PACE have recently released a top mount charge cooler kit, looks remarkably like the TSL one face-icon-small-wink.gif comes with everything you need IIRC and is rumoured to give pretty impressive results. One plus I could see from using the Charge cooling method is that your intake temps could theoretically be lower when sitting in traffic etc

Chris do not worry about charge temps on you 03 STi, I have modified mine to about 370ish and I have no problems at all. I have a charge temp indicator and on full throttle it doesn't go above 30c.

If you check Scooby Magazine my car was the feature called Jock Power face-icon-small-happy.gif

If you are going for over 400ish then maybe think about a front mount but don't bother with the rest.

From a recent experience with a charge cooler on a car fitted with a temp sensor just before the throttle body (Nomad) I was surprised how inefficient it was in comparison to a good FMIC installation.

Get some first hand comparisons before you commit a lot of dosh. Compare the charge temperature with the actual ambient. eg 2 deg C over ambient in the cruise up to 4,500 rpm/105 mph.

Harvey that is where I have my sensor located.

Seems that the 03 STi TMIC is up to the job and as you say a good after market FMIC will be more efficient than a charge cooler. Always had my doubts about them anyway.
