sma01 Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 get the new wheels next week, not sure which rubber to go with, any advice?
Gumball Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 TOYOS T1R'S got mine fitted at Jim Dickson in Cumbernauld today. the full bhuna, balance fitted whatever. all 4 corners=£340. Since getting them today, i can see a serious diference between them and the old bridgestones i was running with. Get the R's rather than the S's.
sma01 Posted May 1, 2005 Author Posted May 1, 2005 swiggi - contis are sound mate - wonder which wheels they'll be on? chris - what size were they?i got a quote for same tyres and were £120 a corner S&F.....
Gumball Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 these cheeky little bad boys are 225/45/17 rating Y as far as i can remember. cant get any more speed rating than them, however no doubt some hot chocolate will post saying you can............ up to 150mph i think. 340notes allday

sKunk Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Get Toyos, either S or R. I'm running S but would have preferred R's but none were available.

jasonb Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 im running bf goodrich g grove profilers, best tyres i have had yet
wrxmania Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Yep - B F Goodrich G-Force Profiler are very good. Running them on my Primera GT - don't get B F Goodrich Profiler-G which is the terrible old model. Brian
ScoobyAndy Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 i'd suggest trying either goodyear eagle f1's or yokahama paradas. eagle's are excellent and ive heard some great reports on the paradas. when iam needing new tyres iam going to be getting the paradas fitted.
Stiks Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Goodyear F1's transformed my cars handling compared to the crappy RE040's on when I bought it. Particularly good in the wet.... which is an advantage for 300 out of 365 days in this miserable country Thunder storm in Falkirk as I write this !! Keith
