ANDYJDMSTI Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 << sorted day out i enjoyed myself but i defo think there speed and timer was fu@@ed my times was s@@t according to what they have put up so i am not happy i know i done a lot better. the last time i was at crail the best i got was 13.8 at 98mph car standard apart from the k&n filter. now 14.06 at 98mph with full decat optimax with a bottle of millers bigger scoops. on that run i past the speed sensor at 104 mph so i dont know where they got 98mph but it made up for it the way up and the way home. wullie >> Bigger and extra scoops = more drag!!! extra bits and pieces = more weight!!! It all adds up to = Slower times!!! or it could also be abit of clutch slippage
Gumball Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 wullie what about the thing with the speedo. like when it says on the speedo im doing 30, but the road angel says im doing 26. the speedos seem to be slightly out by a few mph overall. that massive scooby dog in the back might be adding too much weight too?
