I've never used a snooper, but found the Road Angel to be very good. I'm a bit biased though I'm selling mine just now as I'm not doing enough milage to warrant it and need the funds for a new ECU.

PM for details if you interested.

The Micropilot might be worth looking at aswell, I've heard it's very good.

Cheers,

Gavin.

With out a doubt get the new RA, comes with front and back laser protection; that way you are well sorted on the main routes. I'm on the second generation RA and also use a Valentine-2 detector, but with every force (as far as I know) in the place changing to laser technology the RA covers you very nicely indeed. When I had the first generation RA, it didn?t have laser protection at the time and not every where was using laser, hence having the V2 as well.

face-icon-small-tongue.gif Top tip; try to buy a cheap first generation RA on e-bay for +/- 100 quid and trade it into Black Spot and pay only 200 quid for the new generation RA...rather than the 400 quid face-icon-small-wink.gif

If you decide you want a RA2, theres a group buy on the Lancer register. think they're about 288 all in. As far as I know you dont need to be a member for it either.
