PC controller probs ... wont work with Doom3 ..WHY ?!?

Why o why does it not work with Doom3 or Far Cry ?!?!?

I've installed it .. calibrated it ..what else can I do ?

Will it not work with these games ?!?!

Does anyone else use a controller for these ?!?!
