enCrypt Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 As mentioned in another post, I may be thinking of getting a 'semi' personal plate sorted for the Scoob... So, what are we allowed re numbers and letters? How much will it cost me? Where do I go? Finally, is it worth it at all when you take into account that the 'standard' plates with the hyphens in will be the only thing I can use after September this year? Any info from anyone else thats done it much appreciated. Cheers Mark...
heazille Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 685600 direct through to licensing, £60 to keep your number or to keep on a certificate, Or you can go down to the office, and ask for 'The Reg No Book' and have a look at that. failing that you can ask for a combination off a letter no then MAN or emn, gmn, dmn, cmn etc etc Ta Ta Richard
enCrypt Posted May 26, 2004 Author Posted May 26, 2004 Thanks Richard. I take it the 'office' is where you get your tax discs and driving licenses from etc? I'll pop down and have a look at the book... Cheers Mark...
heazille Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Dont trust the book fully though, They dont update it that quick (civil servants etc etc) BUT it is worth asking if you have a number in mind. It may be on a retention certificate & therefore would not be in the book, but if the 12 months i sup and it has not been re done it may be free. Also if you think of a suitable no that has not been issued befroe they may issue it> Richard The Beast is on it's way
