scottishtaffy Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 had a wee leak in the rad so thought i would take it off and possably change the headers too . the tinny sound and the late boost being the main reason. was taking off the intercooler up pie so i could get rad out and found this...... ahhh.... that would explain the late boost problem then. its been rubbing against the fan cowling. ok so it was probably not the japspeed then causing the late boost. so do i still change it? mmmm will have a look at the up pipe to turbo bolts and if i can get them off then i think i will change the japspeed 4 branch. . got an alloy rad too now so alls good to go depending on these bolts. wish me luck but if there is one, just one , seizied bolt then the 4 branch is staying on and hope it dulls down a bit once mapped. might actually wrap them if i cant get them off. fiddly i know but see what happens.
Bryan d Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I my pipe is the same but think I got it b4 it went thrue and watch out whare it goes under the towing eye it rubs thare to lol
