wilmot Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 So decided to get the cars minor paint issues addressed.... like the stone chips on the front bumper, bonnet and wings and a light scratch on the rear passenger door. A few other bits and bobs..... £600 I've also put a new clutch in it £540 Belts only changed in the last 5k miles Even what i thought was a simple front lamp failure turned out to be £80 by the time i changed lamps and ballast of the HID set up...... they are greedy buggers eh?? All that said, drove my 7 series to work this morning and thats when you know the Scooby is worth every penny spent so far..... I'll get some pics up of before, during and after...
DR Motosport Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Looking good, Strange they didn't remove bumper and headlights for painting, the rubbers around the headlights make it difficult to hide the painted edges.
scooby222 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 very nice! though care to place bets on how long it takes to be stone chipped again lol? but your right, driving them makes any amount worth while
