Help... Exhaust Snapped

as per title.. my exhaust was making a hell of a racket earlier on the way back from work then about 10 mins later engine management light came on... got the car lifted up and turns out the exhaust has completely snapped in the middle at the resonater bit. first of all are the exhaust snapping and em light coming on related (just asking as i see no sensors near there so dunno why the eml light would come on) and secondly where can i get a centre section from needs to be as cheap as possible.
