Time for upgrades.

Hi all.

I've had my standard 2007 WRX for over a year now so it's time to get some mods sorted. Going to go for STI intercooler, decat down pipe, walbro fuel pump, panel filter and a remap from somebody trustworthy ( Andy Forrest seems to be recommended a lot ). So the question is how much cash will I need to have to buy the parts and how easy will they be to source? Any other advice is welcomed!!

Martin.

If you are changing the intercooler you will need the larger splitter and shroud to get the most out of it.

As for parts, look on ebay , the for sale section on here and on scoobynet and only buy from trusted sellers as there are few dodgy ones out there.

I would imagine about £500 would cover all those parts.

Of the top of my head about ;

£ 150 top mount

£ 70 walbro

£ 250 down pipe

check the for sale section on scoobynet its always full of stuff you will need , dont quote me on the walbro but thereabouts . there is also trackhound for mapping its who i used and had no problems .

Cheers for the info. Does pipework need to change when swapping the TMIC? Any thoughts on best filter? Green? Am I right to think that I should get around 280bhp? Questions, questions, questions!! Sorry!

Just make sure the intercooler comes with the y pipe fitted to the underside of it. The green cotton is a good filter yes. And that is the ballpark power figure as well.
