thebigfelly Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Hey folks.. Just back from holiday last night and back at work tomorow so thought today i would try sorting everything or as much as possible Before i start back so in regards to the scoob which has sat with a flat battery for a cpl weeks now. Was wondering wheres the best/cheapest place to get a new battery for my 04wrx sti type uk. Either online or garages in edinburgh. I get the bus to work so not too fussed about ordering it online and geting it delivered if theres sites out there that do them cheap. But if anyone knows any garages where i can pick one up then id like to pick it up today. Cheers paul
thebigfelly Posted July 5, 2011 Author Posted July 5, 2011 Cheers cathy was thinking gp autos as their just down the road. Popped in on the way home they said all impreza batterys are the same acording to their book and want £72 for a new one said id see what else i can find. Said that included fittong but unless they plan on coming to my front door then im doing it myself

d5orr Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 They take your reg number mate and get the right on. I think they might be trade only though so you need an account with them

thebigfelly Posted July 10, 2011 Author Posted July 10, 2011 Nice one will try costco up by me. Got.a membership there
thebigfelly Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 Went into costco today and they said theyve reduced the range of batterys and no longer do subaru. He did say however people would go over to halfords get the code and come back to get the equivalent. Halfords dnt stock any equivelent bosch batterys and only do their own brand so i couldnt even get a code to go back to costco with. And they wanted £90 for thei own make one ouch!!!!
