Sc00by-D00 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Evening all, My 2002 WRX is due its 50k service and am looking at more than likely Rowleys nr Cullompton or Triton motorsport in Bournemouth area. Does any one have any idea as to how much this is likely to cost and how long it takes? Thanks
marko72 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Hi. Just give them both a call and see which one is the most competitive. Not sure how long it takes, I usually just leave mine in for a morning or afternoon. 02 wrx as well.

jd Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) Dont forget Enginetuner in Plymouth Edited June 10, 2011 by JD
Sc00by-D00 Posted June 10, 2011 Author Posted June 10, 2011 Hi J WRX, Im not sure when the cambelt was last changed however the cambelt is due for replacement at the 50k service. Hi JD, I had considered EngineTuner however its a 2 hour drive from Yeovil with Rowleys and Triton being approximately 1 hour away.
j wrx tonkins Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 It will defo need a cambelt done which means it wont be a cheap service as you will need pulleys and tensioner aswell as belt plus all your other little things like gearbox oil,oil filter and engine oil its gonna be between £500-600 the joys of subaru ownership!!
Sc00by-D00 Posted June 10, 2011 Author Posted June 10, 2011 Hi J WRX, I was already kinda prepared for this as I went through the pain with my classic and now again with my newage....I had a rough price online from Triton and rang Rowleys. Booked in at Rowleys for Friday 17th June :-) Happy days
jd Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 2 hour drive is worth it. Alan has customers from Scotland who drive down.
