Is this mod possible?

Can anyone tell me if this mod is possible? Im looking at removing the red lens for the fog light to even up how the rear of my hawkeye looks. Is this removable easily and can it be reaplaced with a clear reverse light lens from another passenger side unit...........or to save the work can you get a unit already like this on any other model or varient??? The only easy way to do it is get a USDM or JDM tail light, as they dont have a rear fog as standard.

The reverse light one wont fit unless you cut it up a little, but taking the rear lights appart is a pain in the backside as you have to dremmel them open, the clear lens is plastic welded to the black housing
