thebigfelly Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 finaly had the guy from dent central come and take the dent out my front wing from when my neighbour reversed into it , had never heard of paintless dent removal, but the guy done a good job id say , he said it wasnt a full repair its what hed call a " tidy" but from what i could see other than the scratches and scuffs in paint the dent is gone , BEFORE - AFTER - SO Il spend time on the paint work when the weathers a bit better ,also wana say thanks to gmac for the sudjestion on the paint from B+Q to use for the parts behind the grill in the engine bay , worked a treat , took about 3 coats and done the trick
thebigfelly Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 forgot to add , to tidy the dent cost £50 +vat £60 in total , said it was tough to psh out as it was on one of the weekest parts of the wing and that there was two brackets in the area where the mud guard in the wheel arch atches and where the bumper atches to the wing, that he had to work round , but it was cheaper than i thot anyway ,
Alastair Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Looks really good in the pictures....unfortunate it happened but least it's fixed now... I take it the neighbour will be paying the bill....?
thebigfelly Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 yeah , hes footin the bill , still got to see him and giv him the reciept , but i intialy said £65 + vat , so hes gettin it a bit cheaper ,
