Well never made it to crail today what a nightmare woke up to my car dead battery gave up the ghost halfrauds £90 !!!

But best of all the mrs car (forester) clutch has been slipping a bit but finally it too gave up the ghost on the west bound side of the m8 just outside Livingston last night luckily she's in the aa got the car home but it's goosed need to find a garage that will do it cheap enough but I'm guessing £500 ish and all just a few weeks before Xmas!!!

change it yourself, I was surprised how easy it was! make sure to skim or replace your flywheel at the same time though. I got an organic exceedy for £295 from camskill i believe they also sell the standard one for a bit less. Engine out though! I did it the gearbox removal method first time round and it was a pain. Engine out method I could do myself in an evening.

I would do o my self but I've not got a garage or an engine crane!! And if I do it it will ly in bits for ages!!!

Well sort of good news local garage 2 mins from the house doing it tomorrow for £451 all in fitting flywheel skimmed etcI think that's ok considering the best price I could get for the clutch kit alone was £147+ vat!
