Engine Warning Light Advice Please

Hiya,

On the way home from work tonight while giving a wee bit of the beans but not excessive the engine stuttered a bit violently and an engine warning light came on, checked it with lappy when I got home and the code is P2044 Wastegate Solenoid "A" Range/Performance, after it came up the car still felt to drive fine although i did nurse it home after it came up. The car has an 55 sti type uk, ecutek remap by Andy F, 200cell sports cat downpipe and uprated walbro fuel pump. Any ideas what I should be looking for here? Kinda scared to give the beans again lol.

this sounds a lot like a problem i had a couple of times with my car, turned out to be dirty fuel causing a boost spike

if you can clear the ecu and top it up with new fuel should be fine
