New Splitter/zunsport Grills Fitted

Recommended Posts

well got up this morn and decided i should get ma finger out and get this bucket tarted up,

so went to ma old mans and spent the day fitting ma new splitter/piaa horns and zunsport upper grills,

it would have only took a few hrs but the bloody number plate plastic screw snapped so tried to pull it out but only made the number plate holder full out into the bumper which u cant get to unless u rip the full thing off, so took a few hrs longer but really happy with it,

its very easy to take the bumper apart and have dropped some pics in to show where the clips are for anyone doing this in future

getting the zunsport lower grill and ma prosport gauges fitted on monday.

comments welcome.

cheers tom

not at all, they fit straight in where the old ones come out,

its very easy to do,couldnt believe how easy it was tbh

It was actually the fitting of the splitter I was most interested in - did you have to drill or make any other permanent mods to the bumper to secure it?

Cheers.

i already drilled 2 holes when i had the previous one but that was just for my own preference to make it more secure

apart from that it was a stright swap over,

its only held in with 6 large plastic locking screws that hold the underside of the bumper on and a few screws but all the holes are pre drilled on the splitter so its easy to line up and fit,its much easier if u take the front bumper of unless u have ramps

hope this helps,

cheers tom

Thanks Tom!

Forgot to ask, who makes the splitter and roughly how much does it weigh?

Thanks again, and looking forward to seeing the pics once the lower grille's on :P

got the splitter from HTAuots, i sorted out a group buy on there not so long ago, was 105.75 inc del,

they dont come painted,

weighs very little, think it made from pu.its very flexible butsolid so harder to snap like the standard subaru item which is mor ridgid

And as a consolation for there being no clock, the dials look like they'll offer plenty of reflection for aiding in the application of lipstick
