thebigfelly Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 seen something similar to this a cpl years ago , it was a guy from leeds i think who charged around 5k-10k for his car wash and he said it was that brazilian wax that bumps the price up so much , sure he was working on many rich and famous peoples cars think rod stewarts lambo was one of his regualar cars , or maybe someone else that was famous but it was defo a yellow lambo , still no matter how rich i was i still wouldnt pay someone 7k to clean my car for four weeks
mystery machine Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 he said it was that brazilian wax that bumps the price up so much Still a bit cheeky when most good saunas will do that for £15 - or even the full "back, sack & crack" for £25....... I'm told.......
thebigfelly Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 you sure youve been told and not speaking from experience
C_WRX Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) No car detail is worth that - end of ! Mind you, people pay it so why not offer it, more money than sense. Also heard of someone that was flown out with equipment to some Middle East country to detail a fancy car or two at great expense !! (okay so I read the whole report and it's him!!) Lets face it, no point driving it after that ! Edited July 22, 2010 by C_WRX
mystery machine Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 you sure youve been told and not speaking from experience No way - nae danger would I pay for that! Especially not when I can get the missus torn-in about it with the garden strimmer for free
mystery machine Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Mind you, people pay it so why not offer it, more money than sense. Totally!
Gorbash12346 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 lake country pads... and he's using 3m perfect-it polishes... sonus green clay bar 303 aerospace protectant and meguiars foam applicators with and a few zaino bottles not entirely sure what ones they are but hardly what i'd call value for money most detailers have more expensive kit than that the only bit thats pricey is that bloody wax £7000 doesn't buy you value for money
