ENGINE NEEDED

Hi there,

I have a 1993 WRX Import which i have had for about 3 months. The engine blew on me yesterday so i am trying to

get a replacement ASAP.

It doesnt need to be a 93 engine as a replacement, a later spec engine would also do.

Baz,

Go bananas m8, fit an STi lump. Thats wot i did when mine gave up

If u need any help with the harnesses of a newer engine lemme know.

pete - ur cars awesome mate!! i have picks of it from various crails, knockhill etc etc.

my mechanic (job, in dunfermline) just phoned me to let me know that the 2 litre lump from John B's X plate WONT FIT. the fixings are different, id need a new inlet etc etc.

as for a 2.5 mate - i considered it believe me. John B has another one on order but he isnt sure when it will be here. sadly, i need my car back on the road, this week if at all possible.

any ideas??

From memory there weren`t many changes needed 2 b made when the 98sti was plopped in mine bud

Saying that we did change the ignition to still run individual coils rather than a coil pack. I think there`d be a small problem

if u r running a std ecu though. The biggest change during the conv was the steering rack and new PS.
