Bootlid Query

alright guys n gals i bought a sti spoiler from a lad on here a wee while ago and had it repaired etc and when i went to fit it the gap in the middle of the boot was wild about a inch gap it fitted alright at the sides.So i was wondering are the blob/bug eye bootlids different fron the hawks any help appreciated

I would say that they are probably wildly different mate...

Your right Dave, rear of the blob and hawk are the same but bug was different, think my bug had more of a curve on the boot also alot of aftermarket spoilers say 03-07 and exclude bugs.

cheers bud i know what your saying about the curve on the blobs n hawks it must be a better fit on a bug eye (surely)

just need to find a bug to test it on

Afraid your all wrong.

The bootlids on a Bug, Blob, and Hawk are all exactly the same shape.

Same spoiler will fit perfectly on all bootlids......................so long as it's a good spoiler in the first place.
