neill54 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 need to order my clutch tomorrow but still stuck at what type ive seen a keenly priced paddle clutch but whats the advantage to this over say an exeddy organic standard one? neil
craigdmcd Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 The ability for a paddle clutch to take a lot more power (actually torque) than an organic one - the downside is a very sharp biting point, quite often a shudder on engaging, and the shortening of driveline components working life - especially marking the flywheel. You only get what you pay for in the clutch world.
