Steering Lock

after whats happened this morning the nice gents have broke the steering lock on the car how and what do i need to do to fix this part?

the steering lock is probably bolted on with sheer headed bolts,they tighten up to a set torque the snap the heads off so you cant get them out easily, but can be unscrewed with a hammer and a centre punch . then get another barrel/key/housing fitted with new bolts from a subaru dealer. i have a barrel/key/housing on the car i am breaking if you cant get one,

Cheers Barry for the info I've got one from a local scrappy should all fit etc but I'll let you know if I come unstuck

And jac he's probably just like me been unlucky too many times with scumbags trying to rob his car!!
