neill54 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 after whats happened this morning the nice gents have broke the steering lock on the car how and what do i need to do to fix this part? neil
mk1cos Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 the steering lock is probably bolted on with sheer headed bolts, they tighten up to a set torque the snap the heads off so you cant get them out easily, but can be unscrewed with a hammer and a centre punch . then get another barrel/key/housing fitted with new bolts from a subaru dealer. i have a barrel/key/housing on the car i am breaking if you cant get one, cheers
