johnnyr6 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 You may get some buffing at the rear. Nothing that can't be sorted. I take it they have 5x100 pcd. Johnny
sti pretender Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Aren't 225's to big for a classic, think they rub.

BalliSTIc Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Rochford Tyres reckon on 215/35/18s et 35-50 being about as big as you can go... sound about right?
scoobywho Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 They will fit with et45 and 225/35/18 Tyres as long as they are falken or yokhama
rio180 Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 The tyres are toyo and the offset is 48, Johnnyr6 mentioned it could be sorted.Could someone please explain? Or am i simply banging my head against brick wall , wanting wheels and tyres that wont fit? Thanks for all your replies.
johnnyr6 Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 What i meant was you can get your rear arches rolled which folds the inner lip in giving more clearance. A good bodyshop can do it if its needed. Tbh, in my opinion unless you really want the wheels go for 17's, they look just as good and i feel they suit the classic better both on looks and handling especially if you pick the right wheel. Just my opinion though, Johnny

Anything above 2% from the original tyre size requires a speedo recalibration! Not to mention the handling will be completely off!
