Camshaft Sensor (my01) Wrx

:Had a CEL light come on a few times now, all of them P0340 camshaft sensor.

Was wondering if these can be cleaned or should i just replace it?

Had a search online and seen some on Ebay,some coming from Japan and others from Import car parts.Noticeable difference in price,the Jap ones being cheaper Should i avoid these ones from Japan ,get on from Import car parts or are there any other suggestions where to purchase???

Have had this come up 3 times now,does this indicate faulty sensor or is there a problem with the belt/timing??

Anybody Anyway was wondering if this would cause a slight delay on firing up ,a couple of times when i went to start it up after driving it cranked a bit before it fired
