Recommended Posts

I'm planning to change a few things on the impreza today so one of the first jobs is to changed the badly damaged rear bumper so just wondered if there is a guide or any things I need to look out for

I have read about the support bar being rusty and flimsy so anything else would be a help

Cheers

thats mad i only did the same job yesterday and all because of my rear number plate light not working , all i can say is have a close look at you bumper support i brought a replacement one before i started because mine was very rusty and im glad i did because when i got it off it fell in half ! pretty easy to come off though , just 6 bolts underneath and a 2 clips either side of the car and make sure you disconnect your numberplate lights , you probably know this anyway ! not sure what else to look for though , i suppose just make sure theres no damage to the rear end behind the bumper .

cheers mark

No he doesn't, he's a lazy fecker, cold indeed

For a fellow Kirky Boy, £20 and 6 miles from you  and may even have some wheels you might like.

We don't do dibs here, first to shell out ;)

Cheers john!!

Na it's ok I totally agree on the old who stumps up the cash first thing I've not had the chance to check my support bar anyway so hopefully I'll not need a new one
