PR08RAD Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 since the really cold weather i have been getting a strong smell of petrol inside the car and in engine bay. it started during the heavy minus temps and snow so im guessing that the freezing temps has split somthiing. its now warmer weather and when the fans are in i get wafts still coming in quite strong.... anyone got any ideas if they are prone to fuel pipe issues, because i have had a look and cant se anything out of place.

myles Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Its a known problem with Bugeyes. I had it a couple of years ago, and was really worried about it. It seems Subaru have issued a newsletter to their dealers explaining how to sort it. It is pricey, and i wouldnt worry about it. Once it warms up the problem will go. Look halfway down the page of this threadSubaru Bulletin
