hi can anyone tell me if these wheels will fit my bugeye before i bid on them many thanks, ebay item number *********

17inch 5x100 and 7.5 inch wide will these fit a bugeye?

Need to check the offset and if they'd clear Brembo Brakes (if you have them) but yea 5x100 is the correct stud pattern for your car mate.

Check they'll clear your brake calipers, but make sure you check the "offset" too.

Offset is how far in or out from the centre of the wheel the bolt-face is (ie the bit that makes contact with the hub). If offset it zero, it's dead-centre. Positive moves the bolt-face out the way (and moves the wheel inboard) and negative moves the bolt-face in (and the wheel out)... Correct offset for scoobs is around +40 to 50mm.

It sounds complex... it's not, but you need to make sure you do your homework - there's plenty threads there for you to search. Bolt pattern and wheel diameters is the easy bit... but brake clearance and wheel offset are critical or you're risking what's potentially quite a lot of money!
