wrxmania Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 (edited) Hi all, Had the car out for a bit today...before it gets it's 18" STI wheels and fog lights (and 1000 miles oil change) tomorrow...only visual change outside is the Litchfield rear light film, Revolution clear rear fog and Philips Silvervision indicator bulbs at the rear (plus LED number plate lights). The car is not exactly "sparkling clean" but it's being detailed on Thursday to get rid of the poor valeting, swirls and general "not 100%-nes" of the paint. Brian Edited February 1, 2010 by WRXMANIA

wrxmania Posted February 1, 2010 Author Posted February 1, 2010 Here we go! iPhone pics of the car (in the rain and dark mainly) with the new STI Lusteric 18's with Dunlop SP Sport 9000's, fog lights installed (and 1000 miles oil service). Much better stance and, in terms of feel (in the wet), heavier steering a low speeds and very little change in the ride quality. Well worth while. 17's to be fitted with winter tyres for later in the year. Many thanks to Charlie at Ian Grieve Subaru, Falkirk for getting it all sorted with zero hassle. Brian
StrikE Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) Beautiful, the bigger wheels look so so much better than the standard 17 inchers and as for the spotlights that just smarts up the front no end So, splitter next? Edited February 1, 2010 by StrikE
wrxmania Posted February 1, 2010 Author Posted February 1, 2010 Lucky you Anyway back on topic, beautiful, the bigger wheels look so so much better than the standard 17 inchers and as for the spotlights that just smarts up the front no end So, splitter next? Don't...Charlie was bending my ear about that one tonight on the phone......... Anyone want to donate the necessary many hundred quid and I'd be delighted to look after it (until I hit a kerb) free of charge! Would love to BUT...my bank account will physically go on fire as will every other means of credit I own...until I win the lottery. I think springs will be next on my purchase list if I can scrape the cash together this side of 2015! Brian
