£300 Cam Belt

change for an astra mk3 van thats supply the kit and fitted is that about right??? i just thought it was abit high........dont know why but i was thinking around a one'er pmsl

that seems abit expensive to me, i had a cam belt change on a vectra sri & he said its

best to do plugs & oil etc at same time & charged me less than £200 all in

Hi Gary, it depends on what the mechanic intends to change, it would be cheaper if you are just having the belt changed, but if he is going to fit a belt kit and a water pump plus antifreeze then things can work out more expensive.

hi deano.........i had the full kit fitted with a water pump,all fitted and the V.A.T £275.had it done friday.i was getting prices over £300 with no water pump.........
