granby Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 (edited) Just to keep everyone informed, with immediate effect i have taken the role of Events Organiser on www.kentscoobies.com Believe me this was not a quick decision as i was asked to take up the role (which was a very big surprise) about 2 months ago and have only just decided to accept, i thought long and hard about this trying to weigh up all the pros & cons, as many of you know myself and a few other members were completely against the setting up of a separate forum for Kent Scoobies as we believed the SIDC was a great home for it, but as time has gone by i think this is the right move and i would like to invite anyone on here that hasn't signed up on www.kentscoobies.com will do so ASAP I will still remain on the SIDC as a moderator but most of my efforts will now be on getting www.kentscoobies.com back to the great club it once was (that was before all the politics & bitchin' ) and getting back to having a laugh and of course the p*** taking Regards Ian Edited December 19, 2009 by Granby

I have my reasons for not wanting to be apart of this new adventure, but it doesn't mean I am vanishing off the scene either. Good luck E Cross you off the crimbo card list then Ian (Tunnel queen)

mikkers Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 KS has now been given a friendly face and a hugely competent organiser. Asking you was the only way it could move forward and I dont need to offer you any luck as I know you and the club will do well. It is just a shame you could not do it again as SIDC organiser as you once were but stepped down. While I don't know all your reasons for stepping down I did think that you perhaps felt you were not getting the full support you deserved from all areas of the club. While I will never post on Kent Scoobies and not even attend any future meets I do offer you my full support and hope to see you from time to time.
