Hope the girlfriend hasn't broken your car Jase?

I seen it parked up in a strange place today :D

She didnt break it, you was driving along and the revs dropped and the car cut out, got my mate to go up and he took up my spare maf sensor, he checked it and the car starts sounds ok but after a second it cuts out, checked the apexi sensor check and the maf seems ok so must have a fault sensor or something....cars now down at my mates garage! Teathing problems eh lol

Just spoke to Jcscoob and he had the very same problem when he owned it!! issue with the immobilizer cutting the fuel pump!! i must have disturbed something whilst doing all my wiring inside the car etc!!

So i have a thing to look at.....well not me cause im not home but my mate has a place to start lol

As long as the problems remain small its all good :-) When you home again like Jase?

Yeh it cant be anything bad, Det was only 5, oil temp/pressure all ok, car sounds ok running but then cuts out! so its either the thing Jc had problems with (wiring issue to fuel pump from immobilizer) or a sensor fault!

Home on the 5th.....cant wait Dunk, its been a long trip :D

Hows u mate? you got the car going yet? When you coming to meet up

Mine fired up the other day first time :)

then started to smoke quite bad (black smoke) guy who fitted it noticed the turbo intake pipe was flucked seems it was drawing in air making a mess of the AFR, i suppose this could be the reason for the last one going t!ts up as well due to running lean then pop? heres hoping that this is actually the problem and not something else

Ok just found out that due to my car being MAFless it wont be the turbo intake pipe after all, so looks like something else

What else could it be, fecked turbo leaking oil or something!! cant be the engine mate as thats new!!! Keep the chin up :D
