Looking For Info On A Car

Hey Folks,

I am currently in the process of selling my Honda S2000 and I had the offer of a said P1 Impreza as a P/X. I am not usually into Impreza's but I do have an underlying love of 3 Door Impreza's!

I popped up to see it quickly on Saturday. Looked not too bad. Few wee scuffs but the engine sounded healthy. Does anyone on here have any knowledge of the car or more of its history?

With regards to price? Do people think the guy selling has it a little high? I had a quick peak on PH's and his appears to be the most expensive on there and the car has a few small dings/scuffs.

I have already been made aware that the inlet manifold is not red, I was advised by Dan on P1WOC.com to pop over and ask among my fellow scottish members to see if someone knows some information about the car.

IM not being red is strange, if you're spending 4k+ on an engine rebuild.. then why not throw a little more into the pot and get the IM re-painted while its all off??

Looks like the car has enjoyed a few 100mph+ blasts too going by the fact that the top mount has quite a lot of bent fins on it... could be a good one though, defo worth an ask on the P1WOC to see if someone more local used to own/know the owner of the car.

sorry my man dont knoe anything about it. the engine bay looks a bit shabby!! wait till the right one comes up dont rush in you will get a good one eventually. i bought mine from isle of man!!!
