ScoobyShep Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 id back the scooby, otherwise mcrae n burns would of rallied legacy estates with lazy boy boxs' lol, silver classics are still the fastest though ha ha
GTB Limited Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 What year legacy? Pretty much anthing past '96 will have 260bhp in auto format. The twin setup really comes into it's own at 90mph plus, when both are on song. Legacy landspeed records. BD/BG 'A' rev model 249kmh=154mph BE/BH 'A' rev model 270kmh=167mph If its post '98 have fun trying Off the mark, probably the Imp, but it will be close HTH Mark
gc8-r Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 i'd say not much in it ............... as the lagacy has a twin stage turbo set up...one low end and one cuts in mid-way through the range but still runs the same 2 litre block.... so will be a good race, please post the results........ i'm saying its 50/50 .....
big jay Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I've driven a legacy twin turbo auto even though it's quite quick for an estate it's not as quick as the imperza. It was nice to drive but for performance the imperzas got it licked!!!!!!!
m@tt untimate STImulation Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 (edited) impreza manual box and once your in the boost keep it there and the games over for the legacy, wont be too far behinde i think 0-80 the impreza will have a cars length on the legacy. will await results (bias ;-)) Edited May 28, 2009 by m@tt untimate STImulation
GTB Limited Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 These cars are completly different animals. Impreza is point and shoot. Leggy is a tourer. Power dilivery is completly different. The leggy produces peak torque at 5k, and peak power at 6.5k. That's the leggys trump card, 100mph up it storms. 0-80 is the Imps area of expertise. I could never catch the Imp to 80, after that different ball game Mark
