Classic Suspension Question

hi folks,a wee question for the techy guys.

What i need to know is will OE Black coloured springs from a V5 Sti RA be a direct replacement for OE springs on a UK turbo 00m/y.

Also will there be a noticeable drop in ride height/stiffness? for the better of course.

any info appreciated.

OK,i see no one has ever tried this ground braking mod ,so heres another wee question.

How would i go about obtaining a part nr. for V5 Sti RA OE springs as suggested by Dunc jnr. at Hypertech?

If i can obtain said number it can then be checked against the UK part nr. to see if both are compatable.

Simple?.....that remains to be seen.

Mark, i reckon they would be compatable and they'll probably lower your car slightly.

If it was me i'd be looking for some classic range H&R springs.

Just my two bob's worth.

They will be compatible maybe lower the car 10mm or so but will be a fair bit stiffer than your standard springs

so probably a noticeable difference to your handling.........HAPPY

cheers guys,Craig i've heard the H&R 's are good but the RA springs in question are very low mileage and not much money so i thought they would be a bit better than the rusty 90,000 odd mile UK springs i've got on at the moment,cheers for the info as well Ciaran.
