Jolly Green Monster Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 yeah the mix of various year parts gave the initial issue but thanks to Paul @ Zen for letting me know what cam wheels and crank wheel fitted and that it might be the wider gap on the kent cam pulley to cam sensor... quick adjustment on cam sensor sensitivity and spot on. once on boost she flies! real stealthy too! granby Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 Thought i'd post up a pic of my engine bay after having all the work done The APS intercooler kit comes with red pipes which i thought didn't look right in my engine bay so i decided to spray them black for a more stealthy look, unfortunately i run out of spray paint so couldn't do the APS induction pipe Before After
col_2 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 the first pic looks best & its cleaner & original the second pic looks like an old lump has been chucked in & the car isnt original anymore

granby Posted September 17, 2009 Author Posted September 17, 2009 Decided to change the air filter that came with the APS induction pipe as it looked a bit small and had seen better days, couldn't fit the new filter on the induction pipe so had to use a nice big piece of silicon hose with a 45 degree bend Standard filter in the wheel arch New filter against the old New filter in the wheel arch Filter should get plenty of cold air through the fog light cover
Scooby Hoo? Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 That looks a lot more able to do a good.
granby Posted September 18, 2009 Author Posted September 18, 2009 Exhaust is on and sounds very nice, no louder than my old system which is what i wanted but i now have a few pops & bangs even without anti-lag
