evil evo Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 (edited) v power = ok tesco 99 = better tesco 99 and proboost = good tesco 99 and proboost and methanol = very very good runs ok on v power but tends to knock slightly once you get intercooler very warm the polar chip seems very aggressive to me but thats what i like - lots of power and torque cheers shocker meant to say its hi-soobs old car i got so ask him what he thought of chip as it was in the car when he had it and car still going strong so they must be ok Edited March 29, 2009 by evil evo
steveairdrie Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 there was one of these polar performance chips on my car and i'd agree with the above statement that it's very aggressive. My RA boosts to 1.4 bar then drops to 0.95 bar and it's running just over the 300bhp mark. I had it dyno'd and the fuel mix is perfect. Althought i'd saving up for andy f to do a live map for the car. Cheers steve

steveairdrie Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 (edited) is there a problem with my boost then when duncan dyno'd it he never said that there was anything wrong with it although he did say that the car must be manic to drive which it is .
