granby Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 (edited) OK everyone the next meet will be at the Three Mariners, 509 Lower Rainham Road, Rainham, ME8 7TN 1. Granby 2. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Been informed (thanks PRO8RAD) that Nottcuts is closed for refurbishment until the 20th the date of our next meet, should we still have the meet at nottcuts and hope they finish the work on time or should we use somewhere else for a change (any suggestions) or use the Wharf again? m@tt untimate STImulation Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 what about behind notcutts by the vets?? its a large car park
PR08RAD Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I am happy to meet there and move on somewhere else if required. but I think there are gates behind the vets bit that close at night, plus no loos (for the ladys) or food and drinks and dont know what pc plod would say about being there ? as alternatives What do local people think to the following... The early bird, by tescos grove green. The malta inn , aylesford. The grasshopper inn, westerham (tonbridge wells) the Amedeus site rochester has bars pubs and Maccy d's bluewater? dependant on how their security are now a days, but usually if you ask in advance they are fine. (so long as you say you are going bars once you all met up)
Scooba-Steve Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Ill put my vote down for either amedeus site or bluewater...

mikkers Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Malta car park is big but it gets rammed at a weekend, no way will you all get your motors next to each other, if there is enough space at all. But you could park in the village hotel next door, its a 3 min walk to the malta.

Jamessti Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 What about the pub that Quagmire's dad runs? on the lower Rainham Road, called the The Three Mariners i think. I've seen that they have had a few car meets there before.

Montythegod Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Medway valley will be good( amadeus estate ) , the cinema has a huge carpark that is empty Maccy d's is around the corner and it is right underneath the M2 motorway bridge !... ( quite often there ) Strand carpark in gillingham is good, no police or agro and a playground to play in ( i am always there on a friday nightand know the locals) Quagmire (Lee) 's Pub is also a good call

quagmire Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I'm not around for the mmet but there wont be a problem if you guys wanted to meet at the old mans place. The car park is plenty big enough and at the moment being in the pub trade he could do with all the business he can get. Depending on his rotation there may be a band on that day too. Let me know if your thinking about it and i'll let him know you will be popping by. Lee
