craig79 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Hullo abody, after checking over previous posts re. this still cannae decide. Have got an 03 wrx with the basic mapping bits fitted so no great power levels, never see's a track but is used around the 'B' roads now and again; what would be the oil of choice ? Reason for asking is I'm getting the same symtoms as some on here when engaging second when cold (sticky movement) Thanks everyone, Craig.
hacky Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Ive just gone for some Silkolene Silktran Syn 5 75w90 oil for my gearbox. Going to use it in the diff aswell as it is suitable for LSD's aswell. Apparently its one of the best. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-850-silkolene-...c-gear-oil.aspx Or you could go for MOTUL Gear 300 75w90. Its the other option I was considering but heard the Silkolene was better for me as I have the DCCD. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-899-motul-gear...ster-based.aspx
