col666 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 When I'm doing tight turns out of junctions and especially when reversing out my drive (which involves near full lock) I get a lot of juddering from the rear wheels. It feels like the diff is trying to tie itself in knots, I can hear the rear wheels slipping on the road surface. This is with the DCCD set at auto. My old Type R with DCCD used to do this on full lock wth the diff open so I am assuming its just a normal occurrance with having DCCD? Also, I seem to get a lot of transmission shunt when driving about town at slow speed's. I find it quite difficult to drive it smoothly, I cant remember it being like that in all the other Scoob's I've owned. Col.
scoob fae ork Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Thats quite like what my car does but i dont have the DCCD. I always thoght it was normal
RS Grant Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Yea, thats normal Col... I usually just flick it into manual and fully open it when I get in, stops a lot of the dragging and skipping. Cheers, Grant
markymark Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 One click on the hand brake should stop it dragging Did you get your wing sorted ?
