cusco kid Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 standred 2pots 1999 43000 .geo on reading up on this it says you need a special tool to put pisston back in calipers is this so and where can you buy them no you dont m8 ,you can use a large screwdriver to push pads/pistons back first check car when cold jack up front and try to turn wheels ///see if there free you will get some resistance from driveline. i have had 2 cars that the master cylinder was sticking on the hyd /side .hopefully yours is just a maintanance problem like pads sticking in the saddles and not sticking pistons. where are you from bud geo

Guest CRAIG D Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I had 2pots on the first scooby i had and they used to do the same. 2 pots ARE the S**T. I once got them so hot that had no brakes what so ever and slapped the curd in winchburgh so hard it ripped the front bumper off. you need to spend decent dosh on the brakes.
