j10 dly Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Hi there, I have a problem with the side lights and rear lights on my Classic impreza, they are both not working anymore. As both side lights and rear lights have went out at once i take it they work off the same fuse, thing is I have checked both fuse compartments in the car (ie under the bonnet and under steering wheel) but cant find the fuse that I need to replace. Anyone know which fuse it is, any help would be much appreciated as I cant drive car at night just now due to no rear lights. Thanks James
cullenmin Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Is there no indication on the fuse box cover to tell you which fuse is which. Usually by a small symbol for each fuse slot. Then the owners manual tells you which each symbol means, most are self explanitary though. I dont have my scoob just now or i would go and have a look to see which fuse it is your seeking. Rich

marky.t.s Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 john it could be the actual lighting switch fuse, as the left and right hand headlights are individual fuses,no27 and 28 in the engine compartment fusebox(15Amp) the lighting switch fuse is a no.29(20amp) located in the same box.the rear/taillight fuse is no.5 (10amp) located in the fusebox under the coin tray ,(right hand side of steering wheel). hope this helps mate.
