Help, Horn Broke

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hey there looking for some advice/help, I have a My98 Classic Turbo. But the other day ~I went to use the horn and the thing doesnt work, it has just recently stopped working.

I have removed the centre from the steering wheel to check the connector was still in place and everything was fine, also check all wiring is connected and not damaged.

But the bloody thing is still not working, anyone any ideas what might be wrong and how to fix it.

Cheers

Check to see if your brake lights are working, on my 95 sti they shared the same fuse. On mine it was located on the right hand side of the drivers footwell.

I misread your thread title as "Help, PORN broke" :driving:

I was gaunnae say:

"All hands on deck! Man in trouble! Whipround, telethon, ANYTHING!!!"...

P.S. If it's not an electrical supply problem, sometimes they can fail after getting clagged up with dirt, salt, etc - you can usually still hear the motor working (from outside the car). Easiest just to replace in this case, IMO.
