They cant mate - my function is Centralised to Borehamwood...........not case of not wanted mate but there is not the job there which suits all my skill set

heard that before mate so many times..most of the guys that worked for us have come back self employed and earning 3 times as much..as there knowledge and experience is superb,the company get rid of so many people with years of experience and know how its unreal...its not until they want something doing that they relise there isn't anyone qualified/experienced enough to take it on,so instead of spending money to train someone up they sub-contract it out to the person who was origonaly doing it in the first place..this has happened so many times in my company..they are so short sighted its unreal....

There has been a lot of expirienced people thats been lost across the company due to centralisation of certain jobs. I am in a fairly unique position as I have worked my way through so I have a lot of expirience in most departments. I dont see the job I am taking making me happy but I WILL NOT GO UNTIL I HAVE SOMETHING TO GO TO!. This is why I am finding it frustrating that these damn agencies are not coming up with the goods. Now I have 2 weeks left in my current role before it is made redundunt but I will still have 30 days in my new role before redunduncy goes out the window.

i understand mate..its a nightmare,,what do you do for the best..catch 22 situation..at the end of the day its £££££££ or no ££££££ for a while(and by the sounds of things out there it could be a while)...what a sh*t desicion to have to make..£££££££££££ involved..
